About Me

Developing Attractive Business Signage

A few years back when I decided to start up my own business, I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into. I thought about what to offer and how to serve my customers, instead of how to get the word out about my company. Unfortunately, when I opened my doors, I realized that I hadn't marketed effectively, and my foot traffic was incredible low—to say the least. Fortunately, after taking a marketing class, I learned how to make my business more recognizable to the public and how to keep people talking about my business. Read here to learn simple marketing tactics that could transform your small company.

How To Make A Great Tradeshow Display Booth

Trade shows are a brilliant way to reach your target customers with your company name. Additionally, you can get great feedback by talking with your customers and building relationships with them. Furthermore, when you brush up against competitors you could gain insight into what they are up to. In order to take advantage of these opportunities and make a lasting first impression, you can invest in a display booth that your company deserves.

Here's how to make it great:

Color

Consider your trades how like a neighborhood of businesses. If that is the case, when your boot is your home, your HQ. Therefore, when you decorate it you want to make sure the colors match your slogan and logo, your site, and perhaps the colors of your primary products and services (if applicable). Also, make sure to use bold, simple colors when possible in order to stand out from the rest.

Sign

The purpose of a good sign is to get attention. After all, you can't tell your customers about yourself if they never see you. You also need to make sure that your business name is clearly printed. Don't try to write a dictionary, rather keep the words to a minimum. You want your customers to easily be able to read your literature. Perhaps include some key benefits of your product with a nice call to action at the end, but try to aim for 12 words or less. That way, your booth reps can do the real (and effective) talking.

Representatives

Speaking of reps, they are very important to your trade show success. They must man the station, chat with leads, answer questions, provide demos, record traffic, and more. Hire people who know how to make conversation in a polite and engaging fashion. Of course, they need to have expertise in your company and your brand, as they are the face of your organization at the trade show. Have no doubt, your booth reps are just as vital as any other part of your booth.

Samples / Demos

Consumers need to see the real life proof that your product does what it says it does. Therefore, if you sell physical goods, don't be cheap with the samples - if you're doing everything else right, then the samples will more than pay for themselves with followup orders.

Trade shows rock. They let you tell your story and connect with customers. Implement the tips above to make sure your display booth does your company justice. For more tips, contact companies like Exhibit Studios Inc.
